"I've been prepared to crash and burn for a long time now."
Promeia, a Judge of the Krampus Compliance Authority, is primarily responsible for carrying out "executions." Unlike the other Judges in Krampus, each with their own strong personalities, Promeia feels more like an iceberg lurking beneath the surface. Quiet and reserved, she seems to have no personal interests or hobbies. For the majority within the TOPS Alliance, avoiding any involvement with her is a given. If their misdeeds are exposed and they end up under Krampus scrutiny, the first thing those anxious rulebreakers pray for is that Promeia won't be handling their case. There's a rumor that circulates quietly within the company, but no one dares talk about it openly. Before joining the Krampus Compliance Authority, Promeia came from the infamous Sweepers, an Outer Ring group that served Calydon and specialized in eliminating "unstable elements." Increase Trust to Close to unlock more Promeia received her handcuffs upon joining Krampus, something she personally insisted on as her only condition. Krampus didn't confiscate the key, but beyond duty to her mission, she almost never chooses to take them off. To her, they represent both restraint and judgment. The rumors are true. Back when Promeia was a Sweeper, her primary duty was dealing with so-called "Ethereals" afflicted with irreversible corruption, ending both their lives and their suffering. She once believed it was all for some greater cause, for the land beneath her feet. Trembling, she accepted that heavy fate. Until the truth came to light. That arrogant, razor-sharp killer died. What remained was nothing more than a prisoner, burdened by fate and guilt.
She doesn't say much, but Promeia gets her point across with surprising clarity... What a remarkable skill!
