W-Engines

W-Engines are the weapons agents equip. Each provides a base ATK value, a secondary advanced stat, and a unique passive effect that scales an agent’s damage or utility.

Match the W-Engine’s specialty (Attack, Stun, Anomaly, Support, or Defense) to the agent’s, then pick the passive that boosts their kit. An agent’s signature S-rank W-Engine is usually best, but strong A-rank and free B-rank options exist.

A signature S-rank W-Engine gives the highest ceiling for its intended agent, but the gap over a well-matched A-rank is often modest. Most content is clearable with B and A-rank engines.

S-rank W-Engines come from the W-Engine signal search banner, while many A and B-rank engines are available from crafting, the Inter-Knot shop, events, and progression rewards.

Level a W-Engine with upgrade materials and Dennies, and feed duplicate copies to raise its Modification rank, which strengthens its passive effect.
